Account & Getting Started

I Didn’t Get My Verification Email

Check spam or promotions and allow a few minutes for delivery. Make sure you're looking in the inbox for the email you used to register.

Requesting another message

While logged in, use the resend confirmation action on the qualifications step or the sign-up screen that asks you to verify. Requests are limited, so wait if the page asks you to try later.

Resending goes to the same account email; it does not correct a mistyped address. If that address is wrong or inaccessible, check with your club coordinator about the account before creating another record.

What happens to older links?

Resending doesn't by itself invalidate an earlier verification link. Links expire and stop working after the address is confirmed or relevant account details change. If a link is unusable and your address still needs confirmation, request another while logged in.

After confirming in another tab or device, return to the sign-up page and refresh it. You may still need to meet the club, opening-time and qualification requirements.

Confirmation establishes access to your email address. It doesn't itself prevent duplicate slot claims; Deck Plan's sign-up rules handle those.

Logging In and Resetting Your Password

Log in with the email and password you chose for Deck Plan. There is no separate Deck Plan ID.

If login fails

Check both the email and password. The error doesn't identify which one was wrong. If you aren't sure of your password, use the password-reset link on the login page.

Resetting your password

  1. Enter your login email on the password-reset page.
  2. If it matches an eligible account, you'll receive a reset link. The response doesn't disclose whether an account matched.
  3. Follow the email link and choose a new password.
  4. Log in with the new password. Resetting it does not automatically sign you in.

Check spam if the message doesn't arrive. If the link has expired or was already used, start a fresh request from the password-reset form.

Asked to wait?

Repeated failed attempts can trigger a temporary safety pause. Wait the time shown before trying again.

Where you land

Your starting page depends on your access: volunteers usually see Meets, while club admins see the roster. A link you were following may return you to that task instead.

If your club sent you a setup link, see claiming an invitation.

Setting Up Your Login from an Invitation

Your club can create a roster record for you and invite you to attach your own login. Claiming that invitation keeps the same qualifications and history.

Before opening an unexpected invitation

Check that it came from your club's usual coordinator and uses the Deck Plan address your club recognizes. This article can't authenticate a particular email.

Setting up your login

Open the invitation while signed out and choose a password. A successful claim signs you in to the existing roster record. If you're already signed in, sign out first so the invitation doesn't replace someone else's session.

If the link can't be used

An invitation may be expired, revoked, replaced, or already claimed. If you've already claimed it, log in normally. Otherwise ask your club coordinator to send a fresh invitation.

A temporary rate-limit message means wait before retrying; it doesn't guarantee the invitation will still be valid when you return.

Choosing or Changing Your Home Club

Your home club connects your account to club meets and volunteer communications. You keep the same Deck Plan login when you move clubs.

Choosing a club

Open the account menu, then your current club (or Choose your club). Select the appropriate club and save. The change takes effect immediately; there is no pending approval step.

Your old membership is replaced. Your qualifications and existing sign-ups aren't recreated by this change, and sign-up access at each meet still follows its access policy. Points already recorded keep their credited club; future locking uses the applicable home club at that time.

If you hold an admin role

Team Admin and Super Admin memberships cannot move through this self-service page because doing so would remove their authority. Have the administrative role handled first through the appropriate administrator.

This is different from a Super Admin's View club picker, which only inspects another club's settings and doesn't change membership.
