Your Meets & Sign-Ups

Finding and Browsing Upcoming Meets

The Meets page groups your club's meets separately from other meets in the federation. People with management access may also see their managed meets.

Meet dates

The dates are when the meet runs — its first to last day, set by the meet manager — not a sign-up deadline. Each session's own date is shown on the sign-up page. Check any opening time or closing deadline separately.

Is this meet open to me?

A Sign up link means sign-ups are currently available to you. An opening date means access starts later. A club restriction means the host has limited who can sign up. Viewing a meet does not itself grant sign-up access.

Looking at assignments

A posted grid shows the published schedule, including assigned names. If you're logged in, the Your assignments card highlights your own placements. That card is tailored to your login; your names and placements may still appear in the public schedule below.

Your My sign-ups list brings together your active requests and assignments. What the statuses mean.

Viewing, Changing, or Cancelling Your Sign-Ups

Use My sign-ups on the Meets page to review your active sign-ups across meets. You can also see them on the meet's sign-up page.

What the statuses mean

  • Submitted: you've offered to work a role or session and haven't been placed yet.
  • Assigned: you have a specific slot.
  • Alternate: you're waiting for a role. In first-come meets, an eligible available alternate can be promoted when a slot opens. In manager-assigned meets, placement is the manager's decision.
  • Available: in the Role column, this means you offered to work a session rather than one named role. It isn't a separate status.

Assignment emails depend on the meet's publication and placement flow. My sign-ups is the place to check your current status.

Cancelling or switching

While the meet's sign-ups are open, select cancel on your sign-up row. The cancelled row disappears from your active list. Cancelling an assignment releases its slot; in a first-come meet an alternate may fill it immediately. Cancelling a Submitted or Alternate request doesn't release a slot you weren't holding.

To switch roles, cancel the existing request first, then sign up again if the meet still allows it and the role is available. Most roles conflict within the same session; Safety Marshal can be paired with another role. A locked meet doesn't accept cancellations or new placements.

Once a meet's sign-ups close (or before they open), you can't sign up, change your availability or cancel yourself. Your sign-ups stay visible; contact the meet manager to change or cancel them.

Missing a role you expected?

Check your clinics, willingness ticks and recorded Level, and whether the session includes that role. Some roles, such as Meet Manager, are leadership roles assigned when a meet is set up and aren't offered for volunteer sign-up. Understanding eligibility.
